The Brain is extremely complex. And getting better is also complex and time consuming.
It takes time to improve. Recovery has to go through stages.
Most of my work is through Direct Patient Care, Telemedicine, and we offer special programs for Facilities
To Schedule... Scroll Down
Direct Patient Care: We treat patients in person at their bedside, or in the office. However, due to the Corona Virus, we are suspending this option temporarily to help keep our patients safe from the risk of cross contamination.
Telemedicine works by treating a person primarily through Video Conferencing. I treat people through the Internet while they are in their homes or their offices. I also treat patients that are in facilities and hospitals through the Internet. I always work with the patient’s Doctors as part of a team. Certain restrictions in certain states may apply to this relationship, and we can go through that on a case by case basis.
I have developed special programs for facilities that are interested in improving their outcomes for all of their patients and preventing needless hospitalizations. These programs are appropriate for Independent Living Facilities, Skilled Care Facilities, Acute and Subacute Hospitals. Contact me for further information.
We accept Medicare and all PPO insurances, as well as Private Pay insurance. For those with a documented need, I do offer scholarships.
My goal is to help people and make their lives better. If my approach and results appeals to you, send me your medical records and history through our HIPAA Secure Email. I will review them. If I think I can help you, we will speak over the phone or the Internet. If I think I can help you, I will accept you as a patient, regardless of your socioeconomic status.

It's About Recovery, And These 5 Ways Are Designed To Help Anyone Get Better.
This Video Helps Explain The Options
Ask Your Questions... Get Answers. It's About Brain Recovery:
I am hosting a free public service. I want to help people who help others who have serious brain diseases and injuries. I have designed this ongoing free series Ito teach you what you need to know to get your loved ones better.
It's casual. You can ask me anything. I will have specific topics I want to teach at each meeting, but at the same time, I want to make sure that your problems are helped.
You can talk with me directly, and you can do this over coffee.

It's about developing and strengthening new neural networks and pathways.
This service has been designed to make people successful in their personal lives as well as their careers.
This may be the only program of its type in the world, which is designed for both immediate and long term success.
Space is very limited.
Let me tell you about it.
Patients with neurological problems have trouble with problem solving.
Most therapeutic approaches are short term and designed to help a person get back to their life. They take rather simple immediate assessments, and focus on those. When patients have ongoing problems, they are referred to therapists or support groups that are reactive to a specific problem and give specific short term advise, if any. Success with these typical programs is very limited.
Our program is different. It integrates with the medical therapy and your biology very tightly. It allows for immediate as well as future growth. It focuses on problem solving and success of all types. This is an extraordinary program that we have developed, and I am extremely proud of it. I do not know of any other programs designed like this or as comprehensive. This program utilizes many real world coaches, specialists, and talent drawn from many different areas of life. They will help you have a fluid and successful approach to your life and recovery.
Let me explain.
Problem solving quickly and accurately in life is crucial. Dealing with new situations, learning from them, and growing personally and professionally is more difficult for those with neurological injuries. But it is necessary for a full, productive, and happy
life.
Success and problem solving in your career and your personal life have similarities, but also major differences. Our team knows your biology and situation in detail. They will help develop a road map of your specific strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots. They will teach you lifelong strategies and techniques for immediate success, as well as future success. They will teach you strategies that you will be able to apply even in an ever-evolving and changing world. They will teach you techniques that allow you to develop your life, your goals, and your success in ever more complicated world. They will teach you the techniques and strategies that you can use as tools, arranging, re-arranging and applying these tools you need to handle an ever changing world.
You will work with specialists in this coordinated service. Our primary team includes a Career Coach and a Coach in applied Psychobiology. Others may be added as needed for your specific situation. All of our team members have extensive experience that can help you deal with specific biological and job /life related approaches required for success in spite of neurological injuries.
These coaches have personal experience with what works. In some cases, the coaches themselves have successfully recovered from serious neurological injuries, and thus know the process and what works. In other cases, the coaches have worked with and lived with family members with serious neurological problems. All have important real world experience in helping people succeed after complex injuries.
This service is designed for those with neurological injuries. Many without injuries will also find them helpful.
It's about developing and strengthening new neural networks and pathways.
But it's about a lot more too.
Scholarships are limited for this program.
I am doing these series to help patients and family members. These videos and accompanying live webinars are my perspectives, both as a Board Certified Neurologist, and as someone who has personally experienced many of the following problems in my family members.
These Specialty Courses are meant to be a crash course on what you need to know and what you need to do when you or a family member have been diagnosed with a serious neurological problem. These courses focus on:
Alzheimer's or Dementia/Memory Loss
Stroke
Brain Injury Concussion/Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy ( CTE)
Learning Disabilities or Cerebral Palsies
These courses and live webinars are especially effective when they are combined with our Basic and Advanced Courses for Recovery from Brain Injuries and Diseases.
For a patient with a Stroke or a Brain Injury, it is all about how to get recovery. We offer several courses and programs to get recovery in most patients with serious neurological problems. This video helps give an overview of our courses and the live interactions and help you can get from the Doctor to help speed recovery.
In my experience, most patients will get better, regardless of how long they have been injured, by following the instructions in these courses. Of course, by combining the courses, most people get better faster.
The Basic Course is designed to help get someone better without medications. These are things that can and must be done at home. Live instruction time with me is included in the course.
The Advanced Course is designed to build on the Basic Course. It is for those who wish to add medications and therapies. This course builds on the foundation taught in the Basic course. The Basic Course is a requirement for this course. This course also includes live instruction time with me to get the best results.
If you combine the specific Specialty Course for the problem that you want help, with the Basic and Advanced courses, you will get the best results.
I am setting aside time and a free course to help you better help those who have had Strokes, Brain Injuries, Dementia and other serious neurological disorders.
These patients have unique needs, including communication and cognitive processing issues. My goal is to help you understand the solutions, so that you can better help them.

They are related.
As a Board Certified Neurologist who specializes in treating and helping patients recover from Strokes and other complex Brain Injuries, I was asked by Doctors, Nurses, what I am recommending for preventing and treating these related conditions for my family members... and myself.
This video introduces the meetings makes that advice free and open to all.
Covid is here to stay. Covid is a very dangerous disease with many patients having strokes and other neurological injuries. In some studies, over 30% of patients with Covid have neurological involvement. Most of these injuries are in the Brain, Spine, or Spinal Cord, but some are in the extremities. Covid Toes, a similar vascular injury to Stroke but found in the extremities instead of the Brain, is just an obvious example of a body wide danger due to a common cause.
There are solutions, and let's talk about them.

Neurological injuries and diseases are one of the leading causes of hospitalization, and possibly the leading cause of rehospitalizations.
The only way to prevent these problems is to have Neurology embedded into your facility.
I have specialized programs for facilities, including Acute and Subacute Rehab Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Care Facilities, Independent Living Facilities, and Group Homes. These programs will help prevent hospitalizations, rehospitalizations and they will improve your patient's outcomes.
I am licensed in many states.
The programs can be on site as well as through Telemedicine and TeleNeurology.
Contact me for more information on how I can help you help your patients at any facility in the United States.
